A hint to guarding your mouth!!

Written by bENJAMIN A ROSE

The Posuk says, “Daber el Bnei Yisroel, V’Yoshuvu V’Yachuvu lifnei Pi Hachirus”

The Translation in the context of the Torah goes: “Speak to the Children of Israel and let them turn back and encamp before PiHachiros”

The Ohev Yisroel says that this verse teaches a very imnportant lesson regarding the Sin of Loshon Hora.

He translates the verse as follows:

“V’Yashuvu V’yachunu”, A person should sit (lasheves) and pause for a moment (yachanu), “Lifnei PiHachirus”, before (lifnei) he lets his mouth (pi) loose (cheirus)

We see that sometimes The torah hints the smallest of things in the wording, even though in the context it doesnt really mean that at all!!

So when your thinking of talking loshon hora, sit for second pause and think before letting your mouth loose and speaking!
