The psuk in Hallel says, “From the narrows, I called out to your HaShem, you answered me with the expansiveness of G-d.” We are all living in the narrows, our own egocentric perspective of the world. We must call out to G-d, try to see the world his way. If we constantly call out to him, empathize with Him and with his Torah, he will answer us and we will see the expansiveness of G-d. We will flee our own ego and live in a world of breadth.
