Mourning is as big as the Ocean

Written by Anonymous

This short vort was given in a dvar Torah by Rabbi Yossi Chazan shlit”a.
He brought a Posuk which suggested that mourning was alikened to a sea and suggested a possible reason.
Just like a fish caught in Yaffo tastes differently than a fish caught in Spain – even though it is from the same sea, so too everyone acts in a different way when faced with mourning.
This therefore is one of the reasons why one does not approach a mourner until they first approach the comforter – because one does not know how they will react.

May all the mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim be comforted by HaShem!
