No such thing as Failure!

Written by Anonymous

There is no such thing as failure. Everyday, on many different levels we do right and we do wrong. There are times we excel in our avoda, and other times we feel we could have done better. However, the main thing to always remind yourself is that Hashem just wants us to try our hardest. It is so easy to get into a negative mindset which will inevitably bring you down and depress you. Then after that will come the self-criticism and self-destruct, ‘I failed’, ‘I’m a fool’, ‘How stupid I am’ etc… But the correct approach, and the approach Hashem wants us to always have is, ‘I know what I did was wrong, but Hashem gave me these tests and tivers, I know I can grow from this, I am going to try my hardest to do better next time.’ There is no need for the emotion, getting down or upset, Hashem wants you to be happy, MITZVAH GEDOLAH L’HIYOS B’SIMCHA TAMID!! (Great Mitzvah to be happy ALWAYS!) When you adopt this mindset and attitude, you are able to serve Hashem b’simcha. It allows you to function on a foundation that ‘I am a Ben Torah who is growing’, and this is the most beautiful and true statement.
