Torah Portion - tazria
Written by Benjamin A Rose
Why is the Parsha of Tzaraas (Parshas Tazria) written next to the Parsha of Maacholos HaAsuros (prohibited foods) in Parshas Shemini? R' Yisroel Salanter explains, this is to teach us that consuming another person with one's tongue (Lashon HoRa which is a cause of Tzaraas) is worse than eating prohibited food with one's mouth .
