Protect Others From Embarrassment

Written by Anonymous

We are told in parasha Tzav that the burnt offerring and the sin offerring were to be slaughtered in the same place.

The Talmud Yershalmi in Yevamos says this was in order to protect the ones who sinned from embarrassment as people would not know who was for the sin offering or the burnt offering.
From here we can see how important it is to save someone from embarrassment, shame or discomfort.
